  1. Hi,
    I appreciate your sharing,
I’m looking for a good broker to try MD, which one of these would you recomand?

MD recomand FinFX, I just tried it on demo the spread is around 0.7, did you or anyone try it longer in live account?

Do the broker server location matters a lot?

    Thanks

  2. Hi David,

    >>”I’m looking for a good broker to try MD, which one of these would you recommend?”

I’d prefer not to recommend any one broker. I’m personally trading Megadroid on 10 brokers (see above), and their performance has been similar over the previous several months, except for FxSol and FXDD which are my 2 worst performers.

I personally only trade brokers that are regulated. Last time I checked FinFx weren’t regulated. Also note that demo accounts will always perform better than a live account.

You’ll get differing opinions on this question. The common answer is that a low latency server (VPS) (i.e. one close to the brokers server), will result in better trade execution. Logically this makes sense, but in practise I didn’t measure any performance improvement running megadroid from home (with a latency of 150ms) and a VPS (with a latency of 10 ms).

VPS’s do offer other benefits though i.e. you don’t need to keep your home computer running.

Probably the best thing to do is just try one and see if it improves your trade performance. The downside is that having a VPS adds an ongoing monthly cost.
