Trade counts picking up which is good.
I’ve started running my ‘FXCM’ account on a VPS as a test. Will be interesting to see how that account performs compared to my other accounts that are run on my home computer.
What currency pairs and time frame do you trade?
HI Ian,
Megadroid trades EUR/USD only, using the 1-Hour time-frame.
Rich I thought that you have been using a vps for all of your accounts all along.
I am impressed and surprised that you have managed to leave them running on a home computer.
These days you can find a vps that will be as cheap as your electric bill for leaving a computer on all day. My service is for 2 years, cost me between 60 and £70.
Let me know if you would like to check them out. Nice and easy setup, basic, cheap and perfect for Megadroid.
Regards
Jono
Hi Jono,
I’m using Amazon AWS/EC2 for my VPS. It’s a cloud server.
It’s free for 12 months. After 12 months it’ll will probably cost about $18 USD per month.
Seems pretty good so far.
